Aberdeen Women's Centre recently held a 2-day training session for 15 newly appointed patient Ambassadors. They learned all about Fistula and Fistula repairs, how to eliminate stigma and how to engage women with fistula to come to AWC for treatment. All women were very engaged and motivated and are happy to find patients for us. To end the training we took them to the beach for ice cream and a long walk.
All Ambassadors received a bag of rice, a t-shirt, a certificate and a phone so they are able to call us any time once they have found patients.
